Supporting pregnant women and their whanau to quit smoking and create smokefree environments


Harbour Health has launched a specialised pregnancy smoking cessation service for the Waitemata District (North Shore,Rodney,Waitakere)


Smokefree communities is a culturally appropriate and language specific service offering smoking cessation support for pregnant women who smoke  (or have a smoker in the family) and their families/whanau.  Our specialized bi-lingual smoking cessation practitioners speak:

  • Hindi/Fijian Hindi
  • Korean
  • Tongan
  • Samoan
  • Maori

Smokefree Pregnancy Flyer

Smokefree communities is a free, flexible, home visiting smoking cessation service and will include face to face counseling, ongoing support and the use of appropriate Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).


Advice and support will also be provided to set up smokefree homes and cars.
